One great news of this month: The Merge on Ethereum was a great success.

May 2022 was the important cut-off date in NFT space. There was a release of GoblinTown.wtf, and everything changed.ย ย
The old way was simple:
1. Create a cartoon NFT collection 2. Hire marketers and influencers, spend a lot of money 3. Create road map that no one reads 4. Call it a project 5. Gather a bunch of random people and bots on discord and call it a community 6. Release collection 7. Pray that those alive people among bots buy
In April 2022, the bear market started for real in the NFT space. The market was down. And then those Goblins appeared everywhere.
1. They had no road
map 2. They didn't pretend they were making any community (traders and flippers don't count) 3. They didn't pretend they had any utility 4. Obviously, they had no road map
GoblinTown.wtf was a project which mocked past projects.
Now, in late September 2022, if You want to create and sell an NFT collection, You need to make it the opposite way:
1. You need to have (or create) a community 2. Those people need to spend time on a Discord server 3. You need to provide them real value 4. You need to solve their crucial problems, instead of making some fake road maps or tokenomics
And only then can you create NFTs and sell them to Your most dedicated few thousand
community members, so they can feel like belonging to an exclusive club of people with tremendous value.
